Food History in West Virginia Lecture & Presentation - Martha & Dick Hartley will be presenting a Foodways History of Early Western Virginia lecture open to the public in conjunction with the annual meeting of the Historic Foodways Society of the Delaware Valley at the Landis Valley Village and Farm Museum near Lancaster, PA. As part of the afternoon session, Society members will also be invited to a foods demo and sampling of early WV cookery featuring recipes from the new book, Serving Up History. Book Signing for new cookbook, Serving Up History, at Blennerhassett Museum, Parkersburg, WV
 

As a part of the Holiday Trees of Our Heritage Open House, the new cookbook, Serving Up History, will be available at the Blennerhassett Gift Shop. Book Signing for new cookbook, Serving Up History, at Henry Cooper Log Cabin Museum Holiday Open House in the City Park, Parkersburg, WV

Visit what is believed to be the first two-story log dwelling in Wood County, now relocated in the Parkersburg City Park. The Cooper Log House will be open in conjunction with the lighting of the Holiday Light Display in the City Park. Light refreshments served. No charge.
